Turmeric Latte

Now that autumn has begun and its colder outdoors, a hot drink is delicious. Whether at the office, on the sofa or on the go. Earlier in the newsroom there was an article about the health benefits of turmeric (curcumin). Turmeric has healing powers and this is perfect if you want to prevent getting the flu at this time of the year. We therefore have a delicious recipe for turmeric latte, a perfect replacement for coffee and tea. Please be careful when preparing turmeric as it is very difficult to remove from your clothes.

Ingredients for a large mug of almond milk

  • 400 ml of almond milk

  • 2 teaspoons of organic turmeric powder

  • 2 slices of fresh ginger

  • 2 teaspoons of organic honey

  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon

  • A pinch of black pepper

PREPARATION

Add the almond milk to a pan and place on a medium heat. Do not allow it to boil. Add the turmeric powder, fresh ginger slices, honey and cinnamon. When it is hot, remove the ginger. Foam slightly with a milk frother and pour into a glass. Sprinkle a little cinnamon over it and enjoy a delicious healthy autumn drink!
